Bio

I am a college admission preparation consultant specializing in the admission process of highly selective California public universities. Aside from advising students, I volunteer with Berkeley and UCLA on high school outreach for in-state freshman admissions (I receive training on admission requirements and attend college fairs to promote the schools). I also volunteer to score Alumni Scholarship applications and interview the applicants for both campuses in the Los Angeles area. I received my BA from Berkeley and I was in a PhD program at UCLA.

I offer free online academic advising to California high school and transfer students I meet at college fairs, thru Yahoo! Answers and LiveJournal who are planning to apply to highly selective California public universities.

This blog is not affiliated with the University of California. I am not employed by the University of California or any of its campuses nor am I a licensed counselor. My advice is based on my experience interacting with the admissions staff at UC Berkeley and UCLA but it is not sanctioned by the University of California or any of its campuses.
